We are also discussing Story Elements using the acronym STORY to help them remember and internalize parts of a fictional story. Below is the anchor chart we have in class for reference.
Help your child understand fictional story elements by discussing each element from a book they are reading. Allow them to retell the story to you to ensure that they understand the plot and the sequence of events. You can also view stories online using Storyline Online. Just click on the picture below, and you will be directed to the website.
